The Kamrup metro unit of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat (India) organized Eid Milan in Guwahati on Sunday calling for peace and prosperity. The meeting was organized in a bid to spread love and humanity among the people.

Guwahati unit president Syed Shahjamal Shah said that religion is peace and it’s very crucial to maintain peace in the world. Another office bearer of Jamat, Jahrul Hoque said that the ongoing ‘ill-activities’ in the name of religion must stop.

“Islam means peace and no genuine follower of Islam ever can be violent. But it’s seen that a section of people have created nuisance in the name of region across the globe. Allah will never forgive those,” said Hoque.

Syed Shahjamal Shah, later, said that God is one though people call it with different names. “So, we are spreading a message for the world people ‘Love for all, hatred for none’. We will spread this message among the people so that the world becomes a beautiful place,” said Shah.

Noted author Gunamoni Bora, political leader Adil Shah, Mehdi Alom Bora, Runu Hazarika and Kushal Kumar Sharma were also present on the occasion and advocated for love and peace through religion.
