Army jawan, woman test COVID-19 positive at base hospital in Tezpur

An Army personnel and a woman have tested positive for COVID-19 at Army’s 4 Corps headquarters at Tezpur in Assam.

Sources said the jawan had arrived from Arunachal Pradesh recently, while the woman, wife of another serving personnel, had also reached Tezpur a few days back.

Both were quarantined at the 155 Base Hospital of the Army in Tezpur upon their return.

The duo is reportedly being treated at the same hospital after their swab results for COVID-19 came positive.
