Novel Coronavirus cases in Itanagar Capital Complex in Arunachal Pradesh continued to rise as 42 fresh cases were reported on July 16.
Among them, only two were detected from among returnees from other states who were at quarantine facilities.
Overall, the state reported 52 fresh cases on July 16. Seven of these cases were from East Siang district while three were from Upper Subansiri. Among the three cases from Upper Subansiri district, two were detected from among returnees from other states who were at quarantine facilities.
A health department bulletin on July 16 informed that among the fresh cases, 45 are asymptomatic.
Arunachal Pradesh now has 387 active cases while the total count of detected cases went up to 543. As many as 153 patients in the state have recovered from the disease while three patients died due to COVI-19 related complications.
