Arunachal Pradesh reported four new cases of COVID-19 on June 4, taking the state’s tally to 42.

As per Directorate of Health Services, all fresh cases have been detected from a quarantine facility and all are asymptomatic.

Of the four new cases, three were reported from Changlang district while one patient was detected with COVID-19 from Aalo in West Siang district.

Total number of active cases stand at 41. The first patient detected with the virus in the state was released from the hospital on April 17 after he recovered from the disease.

The state has seen a spike in the number of positive case ever-since the nationwide lockdown was eased to allow movement of people between states.
