The number of COVID-19 cases detected in Arunachal Pradesh crossed the 9,000-mark with the detection of 135 new cases on September 27.

According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS), the state’s caseload stands at 9,004, including 6,495 recoveries, and 2,495 active cases. The Northeast state has recorded 14 fatalities so far.

Over 1300 patients are in home isolation.

Out of the fresh cases, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 62, followed by Kra Daadi 18 and West Siang, the bulletin said.

As per the bulletin issued by the DHS on September 27 night, 98 patients were discharged following their recovery from the virus. The highest were from ICC at 17, followed by West Siang 15 and Papum Pare 14.
