Two persons were tested COVID-19 positive in Assam on May 18 taking the tally in the state to 102 cases.

Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that the patients are from Jorhat and Nagaon.

“Two persons, one from Jorhat and another one from Nagaon, have tested #COVID19 positive. They are in our quarantine centres,” the minister tweeted.

There are 57 active cases in Assam while 41 others recovered from the disease. Assam reported two deaths and two patients migrated to other states.
