A fresh positive case of COVID-19 was reported from Dhubri district in Assam on April 9.
Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on April 9 evening informed that a person from Dhubri, who was in contact with a previous positive patient, was tested positive.
The other patient from Dhubri (Patient Number 27) was tested positive on April 7.
Assam now has 29 COVID-19 positive cases.
Alert ~ A person from Dhubri, who was in contact with a positive patient (with Markaz linkage) from the same district, has been confirmed as #COVID19 positive. The total number of #Covid patients in #Assam now stands at 29.
