‘Axone’ actor Lanuakum Ao dies at 31

Nagaland actor Lanuakum Ao, best known for the role in the film ‘Axone’, passed away on December 5.

The actor, according to reports, died of kidney ailments. He was 31.

Lanuakum Ao was admitted at the Christian Institute of Health Science and Research (CIHSR) in Dimapur where he breathed his last.

The 31-year-old actor was best known for his role in the popular film ‘Axone’ which highlighted the life of people from the Northeast region staying in Delhi.

Lanuakum’s ‘Axone’ co-star Lin Laishram posted on Instagram about the demise of the actor. Sharing a poster from the film she wrote: “Rest in peace my friend”.

Hailing from Longsa village in Nagaland’s Mokokchung district, Lanuakum had also starred in films like ‘NSR: The Jade’ and the web series ‘The Last Hour’.
