Canon India launches BIS lounges in Siliguri, Alipurduar
Bolstering its presence in Eastern India, Canon India, one of the leading digital imaging company, on June 19 announced the launch of its two new ‘Business Imaging Solutions’ (BIS) lounges in Siliguri and Alipurduar.
Further reinstating its principle of ‘Business Can Be Simple’, the company aims to create awareness for managed document services and solutions in the eastern market.
The two new BIS lounges – Electro Services Pvt. Ltd. in Siliguri and Fotex in Alipurduar were inaugurated in the respective towns by K Bhaskhar, Vice President, Business Imaging Solutions (BIS), Canon India.
The company has six other BIS lounges across the country – two in Delhi, Chennai, Raipur, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore. The first BIS Lounge was set up in 2017 in Darya Ganj, New Delhi and the imaging leader is looking at expanding to 15 BIS Lounges this year.
With 30 authorized Sales and Service partners spread across the region, Bhaskhar highlighted that the region has been registering a double-digit growth from the last couple of years. With the launch of BIS Lounges in Siliguri and Alipurduar, the company is expecting a double-digit growth from the East market this year as well.
With an overall market share of 23.97 per cent in Q1 2019 in India, the company is focused on delivering a complete 360-degree input to output solution portfolio across segments including SMEs, large enterprises and government.
With the intent to augment the business solutions imaging culture in the country and introduce technological advancements across business and consumer products, BIS lounge has been conceptualized to exhibit a wide range of products from Canon’s BIS portfolio, which would include the multi-function devices (Color and B/W), scanners (document scanners and cheque scanners), Rayo Mini Projectors, consumables and Document Solutions.
With trained experts at the experience zones, customers will be provided with exhaustive information on products and solutions, enabling them to make informed and enriched purchase decisions.
