A 21-year-old COVID-19 patient who was cured from the disease was reported to be positive again within four days at Gandacharra in Dhalai district of Tripura.

According to the reports, the engineering student returned from his college into the state on July 13 and accordingly his swab was collected at MBB airport and he was found COVID-19 positive.

On July 15, he was admitted to Bhagat Singh COVID care centre and on July 25 he was discharged after he recovered from the disease. Then, he returned to his home at Durgapur area in Gandacharra subdivision.

On July 29, the student came to the subdivisional hospital with body ache and fever. There the doctors conducted antigen test and he was found positive again.

The student is now admitted at Bhagat Singh COVID care center.
