COVID-19 tally reaches 170 in Bihar

With eight more COVID-19 cases coming to light on April 23 night in Patna, the number of positive cases increased to 170 in Bihar till now.

Principal Secretary of Health department Sanjay Kumar said a total of 27 new COVID-19 cases were detected on Thursday.

Nine cases were reported in Kaimur, 8 in Patna, 6 in Rohtas and 4 in Munger, he said.

Kumar said that reports of 8 samples of Patna found to be positive on late Thursday taking the total number of positive cases in Patna to 24 so far.
