A team of Delhi Police, with the help of Manipur Police, recovered 12 stolen vehicles in Manipur.

The police team recovered the cars from different locations in Manipur.

According to the reports, a team of Delhi Police led by a special staff of South West Delhi had arrived in Imphal on October 24 in connection with an FIR lodged at Crime Branch police station, Delhi on October 3.

The Delhi Police team contacted their Manipur counterparts and recovered 12 stolen cars, including seven Toyota Fortuner SUVs and three Hyundai Creta, from different areas of Manipur’s Bishnupur and Imphal West districts.

An officer of Manipur Police said that the registration number of the vehicles were changed to new registration numbers of Manipur and most of original engine and chassis numbers of the vehicles were also found tampered.
