The Dima Hasao district in Assam will be hosting the Jatinga festival and Falcon festival in September and November next.

The Jatinga festival will be organized from September 22 to 24; while the Falcon festival will be held from November 15 to 20.

Announcing the two popular festivals, chief executive member of North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council, Debolal Gorlosa said that the two festivals are being hosted to promote tourism, peace and brotherhood in the district.

Gorlosa called for cooperation from everyone and opined that collective efforts will make the festivals achieve grand success.
