A huge fire damaged six houses at Aghunato in Zunheboto district of Nagaland on January 19 night.

An official source said that the fire broke out from a general store in Aghunato in Zunheboto district on January 19 evening at around 8:20 pm.

The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.

Six households were affected and properties worth crores of rupees have been destroyed, the source added.

A general store, a garment shop, hostel, household appliances shop including two houses were destroyed in the fire, it added.
