Govt sanctions new Kendriya Vidyalaya at Hayuliang in Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh will soon get a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Anjaw district as the Union Ministry of Education has given its approval for setting up of the school.

“A good news. Union Ministry of Education has given go ahead for a new Kendriya Vidyalaya school in Anjaw district. Congratulations!” chief minister Pema Khandu wrote on Facebook.

Expressing his gratitude to Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Khandu said: “This new KV will prove to be a great boon for people living in the border.”

The Union minister through a tweet informed on November 2 that an order for opening of Kendriya Vidyalaya at Hayuliang in Anjaw district was issued by his ministry.

Hayuliang is located northeast of Tezu town in eastern Arunachal Pradesh. The nearest railway station – Tinsukia in Assam – is around 235 km from Hayuliang.
