Indian Lawn Bowl team has won gold medal in the Commonwealth Games on August 2. The team members are Lovely Choubey, Pinki, Nayanmoni Saikia and Rupa Rani Tirkey.
Nayanmoni Saikia hails from Assam. This is the first-ever gold in this game in Commonwealth Games for India.

They beat South Africa 17-10 in the final. India had defeated New Zealand in the semifinal.
