Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh has been tested positive for COVID-19 on November 15. Singh tweeted about his health on November 15.
“I have tested positive for COVID-19. I request all those who came in close contact with me recently, to self isolate and get tested,” Biren Singh tweeted.
The total positive cases in Manipur was 21,425 out of which 3,068 cases were active. The total death toll due to COVID-19 related complications in the state was 213.
The Manipur CM has gone in home isolation and said that he was doing fine.
Earlier, a few weeks ago, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu too was tested positive for COVID-19. He recovered from the disease soon.
