Manipur reports 4th COVID-19 case

A person in Manipur tested positive for COVID-19 on May 15, taking the total count of cases in the state to 4.

All India Radio, Imphal reported that a 22-year-old girl, who returned to the state recently, was tested positive at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences in Imphal on Many 15. She is reported to be asymptomatic.

Reports said that she was working as a nurse in Kolkata and had returned to Manipur on May 7 and had been under quarantine.

With this, there are now two active cases in the state as a patient was tested positive on May 14. The other two patients recovered from the disease and were released from the hospital.
