Contemporary menswear brand, Philocaly, opened its first exclusive showroom in Northeast India at ABC, GS Road, Guwahati on Friday.
Founded in 2015 in Delhi, Philocaly is a contemporary menswear brand that custom-makes all kinds of formal wear, including wedding ensembles. Apart from full suits to shirts, trousers and jackets, Philocaly also offers a wide selection of accessories to make you look dapper with bow ties, ties, printed pocket squares and cufflinks.
Philocaly derives inspiration from art, experiences and modern cultural references. “Our design language and philosophy lies in clean silhouettes and cuts, minimal surface development and intrepid use of colors and patterns. We love geometry and synchronic arrangements, which reflects heavily in our work,” said Ashna Verma, creative director and co-founder at Philocaly.
Speaking about the launch in Guwahati, franchise partner Parveen Goyal said, “There was a demand for custom-made menswear in the region and we are happy to bring the Philocaly brand to Guwahati. The store, located at Gayatri Plaza, Opp. Dona Planet, GS Road in Guwahati, is set to offer a superior bespoke menswear experience.”
Taking a deeper look at Philocaly’s suits, they range from single breasted, double breasted, lounge suits, dinner suits, business suits, wedding suits, tuxedo and bandhgalas available in some of the world’s finest fabrics.
Besides exclusive bespoke and contemporary wear, the brand also offers great gifting options. The brand has developed some niche gifting ideas…from weddings to bachelor parties, corporate events and product launches. “We have come up with exclusive and personalized concepts that align with the theme and nature of the events. The depth of customization is limitless; we can work with various mediums, prints, patterns and embroideries to even the packaging. We have a dedicated team of designers, craftsmen and artisans focusing on designing and developing bespoke gifting concepts,” said Shrey Vij, business head and co-founder at Philocaly.
