Minerva Punjab FC defeated Rynith SCC of Meghalaya by 1-0 to reach the final of the 11th Bodousa Cup in a high-voltage semi final played at Tinsukia on October 1.

The all important goal was scored by Bali Gagandeep in the 83rd minute of the match with a header. Gagandeep did no mistake in converting the chance from a corner taken by Sanju Pradhan into a goal.

Both the teams had their share of opportunities but failed to give the finish. The Punjab based outfit became the first team to be in the final.

The other semi final will be played between Durand Cup winner Gokulam Kerala FC and Sagolband UFC of Manipur on October 2. The final will be played on October 4 at Tinsukia.
