Mizoram governor Haribabu Kambahampati calls on president Ram Nath Kovind

Mizoram governor Haribabu Kambhampati met president Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on July 31, an official communication said on August 1.

Newly-appointed governor Haribabu Kambhampati, is the 22nd governor of the Mizoram. He was sworn in as the new governor succeeding governor Pillai on July 19.

This was governor Haribabu’s maiden trip to the national capital and his first audience with the head of the country president Ram Nath Kovind.

The president and his guest shared a warm discussion on various important topics for the state. Governor gifted Mizo Shawls and exotic fruits from Mizoram to the president, a press release from DIPR, Mizoram said.
