Nagaland on August 24 registered 28 new COVID-19 positive cases.
With the detection of the new cases, the state has registered 3,714 total COVID-19 cases so far.
In a tweet, Nagaland Health and family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom informed that 28 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported out of 587 samples tested in the past 24 hours on August 24.
Among these, 24 cases were reported from Kohima, two from Dimapur and one each from Longleng and Zunheboto.
Pangnyu also informed that the state on August 24 reported 102 recoveries of COVID-19 patients with 85 from Dimapur and 17 from Kohima.
