The 20th edition of the annual techno-management fest of IIT Guwahati Techniche will witness the presence of scientists from NASA and ISRO who will chair a discussion on the latest developments in space sciences and technology. This panel discussion at IIT Guwahati will take place on September 1 during Techniche. The topic of the discussion will be “Space Colonization – Does a future await us light years away?”
The discussion would be centred on mankind’s attempts at setting up space colonies and the feasibility of such a venture. Space Colonization has been a hot topic in the field of astronomy for years now and through this panel discussion, IIT Techniche aims to bring out the details of the topic to a widespread audience in presence of notable scientists working in domain of space and who have been working for years to achieve this dream of life outside our blue planet. The panelists will share their views on the agenda as they seek to unravel the aura of space colonization.

Techniche 2018 will be held from August 30 to September 2 at the IIT Guwahati campus. The events during Techniche will include workshops, technical exhibitions, guest lectures, technical competitions, literary events including Model United Nations.
