A decommissioned aircraft, bound for Sivasagar in Assam from Mumbai, got stuck under a flyover in Bihar on December 29.

Videos of the incident, which also resulted in traffic jam in the area, went viral on the social media. The traffic snarl occurred at Piprakothi Bridge in Motihari, Bihar.

Zoonskaya, a boutique resort in Sivasagar, Assam, purchased the retired ex-Air India Airbus A320 aircraft to transform it into a restaurant. The aircraft is being transported from Mumbai to Sivasagar.

The ‘huge consignment’ is expected to reach Sivasagar in January 2024.
