School principal missing with bus, cash in Arunachal

A former principal of a private school at Dumporijo in Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh reportedly fled with two school buses and cash.

A report in the Arunachal Times on February 25 said that the former principal was missing, along with two school buses and cash. The report added that one of the buses was recovered later from neighbouring Lakhimpur in Assam.

The owner of the school, Kali Paja, has lodged a complaint against the former principal, identified as Asiq Mullassary, at the Dumporijo police station. Paja stated that Mullassary and a woman who was a staffer of the school management committee fled with “huge cash amount of the school with two school buses.”

A social media post added that around Rs 1.5 crore was missing adding that anyone who could inform the whereabouts of the duo will be rewarded.
