Sikkim police rescues two girls from Haryana
Sikkim Police has rescued two minor girls from Ambala in Haryana who had been kidnapped recently.
The girls were reported to have been kidnapped on August 14 while on August 15 a complaint was lodged in Sadar Police Station.
“The police team led by Sub Inspector Tilak Chettri, arrested the culprits with the help of Ambala Police,” informed Sikkim Police.
The traffickers were traced within three days and police was
deputed to the city. Some India Reserve Battalion personnel also joined them at Delhi.
The rescued girls and accused have been brought to Delhi. While the accused are in the police custody. The rescued girls are expected to be sent to Child Rights Commission, before they are handed over to their families.
