Tezpur University’s mass communication and journalism department students Babli Mondal and Sadika S Laskar won the first prize in a short film making competition on the theme ‘pollution’ organized by the Assam Don Bosco University recently as a part of the e-event ‘Shout Out to Green World’.
‘Shout Out to Green World’ was organized on the occasion of World Earth Day to help the environment and make positive changes in the community. The event focused on issues like pollution, deforestation, water scarcity, soil erosion and degradation through different competitions based on the themes.
The e-event witnessed entries from various countries. The winning video was uploaded on YouTube and official website of the event for public viewing and awareness on the issue.
