Three more test COVID-19 positive in Guwahati

Three persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Guwahati on May 15 taking the overall count in Assam to 89 cases.

Among the three new cases, one patient migrated to West Bengal while the other two are at Guwahati.

Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that one of the patients is at the quarantine camp in Sarusajai stadium while the other patient is admitted at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. “3 persons tested #COVID19 positive in Kamrup Metro. One person is from Sarusajai quarantine camp, one indoor patient of GMCH and one has migrated to West Bengal,” the minister had tweeted.

With the new cases, the total number of active cases in Assam went up to 44 while 41 others recovered from the disease and two cases migrated outside. Assam reported two deaths due to COVID-19 complications.
