Tickets for Guwahati matches of Indian Super League 2017-18 now available online

Online tickets for the first two Guwahati matches of the Indian Super League 2017-18 season are now available.

The NorthEast United FC will take on Jamshedpur FC at Guwahati’s Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium on November 18. The Highlanders will play their next home game on December 8 against Bengaluru FC. Both the matches will start at 8 pm.

The online tickets, available on BookMyShow.com, are priced between Rs 249 – Rs 1200. The popular North and South stands are priced at Rs 249 whereas Northeast and Southeast stands will cost Rs 375 per person. The West Upper Stand Right and Left are priced at Rs 650. Premium tickets were not available on the e-ticketing platform.

The Guwahati-based side will play 3 home matches each in January and February. The tickets for these matches weren’t made available.

This year 10 clubs will play at the ISL with the Jamshedpur FC and Bengaluru FC being the new entrants. According to an official information issued earlier, the 10 clubs have collectively spent Rs 132.75 crores in signing 77 international and 166 domestic players. Unlike previous seasons, the maximum number of foreign players in the playing XI has been reduced from six to five from this season onwards. This has prompted clubs to invest heavily on home-grown talents with long-term goals in mind resulting in over 32 Indian players getting multi-year contracts starting this year.
