Responding to Mizoram government over the constructing of a temple in Phuldungsei village at Thaidowr Tlang locality, Tripura government reiterated that the proposed area belongs to the state and there is question of dispute over land.

In a letter to deputy secretary (home) Mizoram David H Lalthangliana on October 18, additional secretary of Tripura (home) AK Bhattacharjee said: “Kindly direct the district magistrate, Mamit to rectify and withdraw his order immediately as these areas mentioned in the prohibitory order already under administrative control of North Tripura district since creation of state of Tripura.”
