Tripura reports 102 fresh COVID-19 cases

Tripura on June 1 reported 102 fresh COVID-19 cases. Earlier in the day, 5 COVID-19 cases were found in the state.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb informed that out of 578 samples tested in the state on June 1, 102 came out positive.

He further mentioned that all the newly-tested positive patients have travel history.

“As the numbers are rising, I urge everyone to stay extra cautious, follow the government instructions and co-operate with us,” he tweeted.

With the detection of the new cases, the number of total COVID-19 cases in the state went up to 423 with 247 of them still active.
