Tripura on May 4 reported 13 new cases of COVID-19 which includes BSF jawans posted in the state and 2 children.

All the jawans belong to 138 Battalion of BSF.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb informed that the new cases took the state tally to 29 with 27 of them active cases while 2 recovered from the disease.

“More 13 persons including two kids of 138th-Bn #BSF Ambassa found #COVID19 positive. Total #COVID19 positive cases in #Tripura stands at 29 (2 already discharged, so active cases: 27). Don’t panic, follow the govt guidelines and stay at home,” Deb tweeted.

Earlier, Deb informed that the 12 BSF personnel, who were found COVID-19 positive on May 3, were shifted to GB hospital on May 4 for better treatment. “All of them were asymptomatic and now under proper medication. Conditions of all the patients are now stable and responding to the treatment,” he had tweeted.
