DoNER minister G Kishan Reddy

Union minister of culture, tourism and DoNER, G Kishan Reddy is arriving in Imphal on May 2 on a two-day visit to Manipur.

The Union minister will arrive in Imphal on May 2 afternoon, according to the official tour programme.

During his two-day tour in the state, the minister will inaugurate ISTT through virtual mode on May 2. He will also visit the temporary campus of National Sport University where he will interact with the students.

It will be followed by watching a final football match at Khuman Lampak Sports complex being organized as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav: North East Festival being celebrated across all the eight Northeast states.

The festival kicked off on April 28 and will conclude on May 4.

On the next day of his camping in Imphal, Reddy will inaugurate a badminton tournament at DM College campus which is also a part of the festival.

It will be followed by a meeting to review tourism projects being implemented at Loktak Lake at Moirang of Bishnupur district.

The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: North East Festival being celebrated across all the eight Northeast states is being organized by the DoNER ministry with the spirit of “Hum Kisi Se Kam Nahi”.
