To ease check-in facility for air passengers, full-service carrier Vistara will soon launch self-service kiosks at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati.

Starting the service in Delhi and Mumbai airports, the airline said that it will soon expand the service at 17 other airports, including Guwahati, by the end of June.

The facility would allow customers to check in, select seats and print their boarding passes for their flights without queuing up at check-in desks.

Customers with check-in baggage can drop them at the check-in desks after printing their boarding passes.

With a fleet of 13 planes, the airline operates more than 530 weekly flights.

According to the release, the kiosks – installed at Delhi and Mumbai airports – would also be available for Singapore Airlines and SilkAir customers flying on Vistara-operated aircraft under code-share tickets.
