People rushed to the train with food items to distribute them to the passengers

Passengers travelling on a Shramik Special train to Mizoram were up for a pleasant surprise when they were offered food by some Samaritans during their brief halt near Begusarai in Bihar.

A video of the incident was shared by Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga on May 30.

A few days back, people travelling on a special train to Mizoram helped flood-affected people in Assam who were taking shelter near the railway tracks. The passengers were seen distributing food packets as the train went past the area.

Referring to the videos, Chief Minister Zoramthanga termed it as “Goodness for goodness”.

“Few days after stranded Mizos offers their food to flood-affected victims on their way back, a brief halt of their #ShramikSpecialTrain at #Begusarai Bihar witnessed good #Samaritans offering them food in return! Goodness for goodness. #India is beautiful when flooded with #Love,” he tweeted.

Wearing masks, the people in Bihar rushed to the train with food items as it stopped briefly.

Netizens heaped praise for the people terming it as the India which is all about togetherness and unity.
