Youth from Assam killed in train accident in Tripura

A youth from Cachar district of Assam was run over and killed by a train in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai on June 3.

Official sources said the incident took place on June 3 morning at Dhanchara. Local people noticed the youth’s body on the railway track in the morning. Police immediately rushed to the spot and recovered the corpse.

It was revealed that the deceased was Kutunavi Sinha (25) from Silkuri of Cachar, Assam.

He was an assistant of LPG refill carrying truck which reached Ambassa on June 2 night.

Police registered a case and driver of the truck Samendra Singha was detained for primary investigation.
