YouTubers, video bloggers from Assam meet CM Sonowal

A delegation of YouTubers and video bloggers met Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal in Guwahati on September 23 – The News Mill

A delegation of YouTubers and video bloggers met Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal in Guwahati on September 23 and discussed range of issues concerning their work.

Sonowal, while hailing their efforts in projecting the visual impression among the viewers, requested them to take steps for discovering different aspects of Assam and make the viewers aware of those aspects of the state.

He also said that Assam has unique geography, history, folk culture and above all everything else its unique natural beauties which need to be promoted and projected before the world to give them opportunity to appreciate them.

Referring to Anundaram Barooah, Bhupen Hazarika and Swami Vivekananda who transcending all boundaries promoted and projected India’s culture and heritage, Sonowal said that in the age of science and technology, emulating these great personalities and using the information technology the YouTubers and bloggers must adequately promote and project state’s unique culture, traditions, heritage before the global public.

Congratulating the influencers for generating a million followers, Sonowal said that the overwhelming response is the testimony of the immense potential of the youths of the state.

Terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi of advocating, propagating and starting an era of youth led development, Sonowal requested the YouTubers and bloggers to work to contribute to the formation of “New India”. He also requested them to generate awareness about the government’s welfare schemes among the public in general.
