17 Nagaland students get selected as cabin crew – The News Mill

As many as 17 students from Nagaland were selected for cabin crew during a recruitment drive conducted by budget carrier GoAir recently.

GoAir conducted the recruitment drive at Siliguri in West Bengal wherein 25 candidates from across Northeast were selected.

According to official sources, around 350 candidates from various Northeast states took part in the interview process.

Altogether 58 candidates from Emporium Skills Training Institute of Dimapur went to Siliguri to participate in the interview and 17 of them were selected as Cabin Crew. The selected candidates are undergoing training at the institute under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna Scheme (PMKVY2.0), which is conducted under the leadership of the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship of Government of Nagaland.

The selected candidates will fly to around 25 destinations in India and 7 overseas destinations with monthly starting salaries ranging between Rs 50,000-60,000, news agency UNI said.
