Four new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported from Assam on April 3.
Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on April 3 informed that four new positive cases have been detected, all with travel history to Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi last month.
The minister tweeted, “Alert – Four more patients have been found #Covid-19 positive. Three of these are from Nalbari, and one is from South Salmara, taking total no in Assam to 20. All these 4 people are also associated with #NizamuddinMarkaz event.”
Earlier, 16 people were detected with COVID-19 in the state and all of them had been to the Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin Markaz last month.
