Thirteen new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Arunachal Pradesh on June 12, taking the total number of cases in the state to 80.
Of the 13 cases, all are returnees and detected from quarantine facility, the Directorate of Health Services informed through a tweet.
As per the DHS, all the new cases are asymptomatic and would be managed at COVID Care Centre.
Out of these new cases, six were reported from worst-affected Changlang district, another six from East Siang and one from Namsai districts.
The Changlang district in eastern Arunachal reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the state. The district has reported 48 cases so far. Diyun circle under Changlang district has most number of cases.
With 13 fresh COVID-19 cases on June 12, the number of active cases in the state stands at 76 while four patients recovered – including state’s first patient from Tezu hospital on April 17.
