Assam cricketer Riyan Parag hits century as India Red beat India Green

Assam under-19 cricketer Riyan Parag impressed on Thursday as he scored a century for India Red in the U-19 Paytm Challenger Trophy.

India Red won the match played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai versus India Green riding on Riyan’s impressive performance with the bat. India Red scored 273/8 in their 50 overs. Riyan scored 100 runs in 101 balls.

In reply, India Green were all out for 186 runs in 42.1 overs.

Riyan Parag is a hard hitting batsman and is the son of former Assam cricketer Parag Das and national award winning swimmer Mithu Baruah.

Riyan has already made his debut for the state team in Ranji Trophy this season.
