Moment before the match between NEUFC and Shillong Lajong FC in Chirang

Ten men Delhi FC defeated Daimalu Club 1-0 in a group B match of 68th Bordoloi Trophy played in Baihata Chariali in Assam on March 30 to book their spot in the semifinals.

Krishna Pandit scored the lone goal for Delhi FC in the 78th minute.

In a group C match played in Sipajhar, CISF defeated OIL India 2-1 on March 30. With this, they levelled with Nagaland Police with the same points and the same number of goals at the top of the group.

Now, as per the rules of the Guwahati Sports Association (GSA), the semifinalist will be decided by a draw on March 31 with the presence of the two team managers.

Rajdeep Singh (63′) and Md Rasheed (76′) scored for CISF while Milan Basumatary (75′) scored one for OIL.

In the last match of Group D, NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) and Shillong Lajong FC played a 2-2 draw at Taikajhora in Chirang.

Dipu Mirdha (9′) and Pragyan Gogoi (77′) scored for NEUFC while Tremki Lamurohg (46′) and Gladdyn Kharbuli (63′) scored for Lajong.

United Chirang Duar FC has already booked a berth in the semis from Group D.

In the last league match of group B, Assam Police Blues will face Assam Rifles, Shillong on March 31.

Venue of semifinals and final changed:

The semifinals and the final matches of the Bordoloi Trophy will be held at the Nehru Stadium in Guwahati on April 1 and 3 respectively.

The semifinal matches will be held at the Nehru Stadium simultaneously (on ground 1 and 2) from 2.30 pm.

The closing ceremony will be held from 1 pm and the kickoff time of the final is 2.30 pm, said GSA general secretary Dhrubajyoti Kalita.
