CM Sonowal attends banquet hosted in honour of US President in New Delhi

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on February 25 attended a banquet hosted by President Ram Nath Kovind in honour of visiting US President Donald Trump at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

“Only four chief ministers from Indian states were invited to the banquet. Chief Minister Sonowal is the only chief minister from Northeast who was invited for this banquet. While attending the banquet, chief minister Sonowal interacted with the US President also,” stated a press release from the Chief Minister’s Office.

Other chief ministers who were invited to the banquet include Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa, Telengana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar.
