Assam has registered 218 new COVID-19 positive cases on June 14, taking the overall tally to 4,118.
With the detection of the new cases, the number of total active COVID-19 cases in Assam stands at 2,147.
Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that the 1960 patients recovered from the disease in the state and were released from the hospitals.
On June 14, a total of 155 patients were discharged from various civil, district, and model hospitals after they tested negative.
