Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on April 7 informed that a fresh case of COVID-19 was detected at Dhubri district, taking the state tally of positive patients to 27.
In a tweet, Sarma informed that the Dhubri patient is also related to the religious conglomeration at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi. In total, 26 out of the 27 patients in Assam are traced to the event.
