Nagaland COVID-19 positive cases rise to 3,118

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rose to 3118 on August 12 with 87 new positive cases detected in various parts of the state.

Nagaland health and family welfare minister S Pangnyu Phom in his updated Twitter informed that 87 new positive cases of COVID-19 were detected out of 614 suspected samples tested in several towns of the state.

The new cases were detected with 48 cases in Dimapur, 35 cases in Kohima, 3 cases in Zunheboto and one case in Wokha. Necessary contact tracing have activated, the minister added.

Meanwhile, with the new addition, the state’s COVID-19 dashboard informed that the total tally has increased to 3,118.

Out of the total, there were 2119 active cases and 985 recoveries, signifying a recovering rate of 31.59%.
