Nagaland Police recovers huge quantity of ganja

Police in Nagaland, along with D Coy 9th NAP(IR) battalion, recovered a huge quantity of contraband ganja on January 19.

According to police, personnel of Pfutsero police station along with D Coy 9th NAP (IR) Bn, during a routine vehicle checking at Razeba Welcome Gate, located about 2 km away from Pfutsero town, at around 6 pm on January 19 intercepted a car and recovered approximately 360 kg of contraband ganja.

The consignment was packed in 36 rectangular packets weighing approximately 10 kg each.

Police said that the driver of the vehicle identified as Pfonyi Koza of Khezhakeno village was arrested. A case was registered at Pfutsero police station under the NDPS Act. Further investigations are on.
