After a successful maiden stint in 2017, the second edition of North East Foodtech 2019 is coming up again in Guwahati in a much bigger manner. The exhibition, scheduled from June 13-16 at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, will focus on the food processing, bakery & confectionery, dairy, hospitality, sweet & snacks and catering industries.
The organizer of India’s flagship exhibition ‘Foodtech India’ in association with Hotel & Restaurant Association of Assam is presenting this vibrant platform to the people of the Northeast region to explore the opportunity of start-up business in food and hospitality industry. The 4-day exhibition will showcase the food processing machinery, bakery & confectionery equipment, food packaging machinery, bakery & confectionery accessories, food display counter, beverage processing equipment, commercial kitchen & refrigeration system, tableware, food industry it products, food additives & ingredients, commercial chocolates, food packaging materials, sweet & snacks making machinery, food flavor & colours, dairy technology and many more.
More than 90 companies from all over India will display their products in the exhibition. Live demo, products knowledge, technical know-how etc. will be provided to the visitors.
“The second edition of North East Foodtech has increased by 31% in term of the volume of the show,” mentioned Zakir Hossain, chief convener of the show.
In the first edition, trade visitors from neighbouring states like Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura & West Bengal turned up to explore the opportunity. “More people are expected to visit this time again,” Hossain added.
