Tickets for the second T20 match between India and Australia to be played at Barsapara stadium in Guwahati on October 10 will be available online from October 2.
The online tickets will be available in BookMyShow.com from October 2 onwards. The Assam Cricket Association officials informed the News Mill that anyone purchasing the online tickets will have to get the hard copies of the tickets from October 5 onwards. “These can be exchanged after producing necessary documents like identity proof and valid BookMyShow booking ID from various counters to be set up in the city,” the official said.
No tickets will be sold offline, the official added. The ACA informed that 25,000 tickets will be made available for online sale. “One buyer can book only 3 tickets at a time,” the ACA official added.
The price for a student entry is fixed at Rs 500 while for a general public, the minimum price of a ticket is fixed at Rs 1250. The prices are inclusive of taxes although a convenience charge may be charged by the ticketing agency.
The highest ticket rates are Rs 5000 each for the North and South stands ground floor.
The Guwahati T20 will be the second match of the India-Australia series. The match marks the debut of international cricket at the newly-built Barsapara stadium.
