Taj Cement initiative at Jyoti Niketan School for differently-abled blind students, Guwahati

With an aim to welcome the festive season and cheer with the underprivileged sections of the society, Guwahati-based leading cement brand Taj Cement on Wednesday organised a camp at Jyoti Niketan School for differently-abled blind students located at Udayan Bihar in Narengi, Guwahati.

The initiative touched more than 50 visually impaired students who took part in various activities along with the representatives of Taj Cement. The students, in unison thanked the representatives for giving them a chance to celebrate the onset of the festive season.

Along with food items, Taj Cement – a brand under Hills Cement Company Limited – provided water purifier for the students at the school. “We are thankful that the company took this initiative to spend the day with the students. Looking at the students, I can surely say they are very happy being a part of it,” said Sr. Jomsy, head mistress at Jyoti Niketan School.
